The Lagoon Playgroup operates Monday thru Friday with morning preschool and afternoon Parent and Toddler playgroups.
Our Senior class meets Monday / Wednesday / Friday from 9am – 1pm and consists of children who are four years of age by September of the enrollment year. This class is facilitated by two teachers and two volunteer parents. Tuition for the Senior preschool class is currently $460/month.

Our Junior class meets Tuesday / Thursday from 9am – 1pm and consists of children who are fully potty trained and three years of age by September of the enrollment year. This class is facilitated by two teachers and two volunteer parents. Tuition for the Junior preschool class is currently $365/month.

Parent toddler classes are offered in five week sessions on Saturdays from 9:30-11. Children must be between the ages of 2-3 and a parent/guardian must stay onsite at all times.
During these 90 minute sessions, children will have the opportunity to explore the Lagoon Playgroups outdoor classroom as well as our construction/light and shadow area. Other areas include a mud kitchen, sandbox, playhouse, stage, and art experiences. At the Lagoon Playgroup, we believe that unstructured play that’s thoughtfully set up allows children the space to test theories, take chances, and build social relationships with others.
While the program is largely child-led, the last 10-15 minutes will consist of a meeting time where we will read stories, sing songs, etc. This is an outdoor program, so all sessions are dependent on weather conditions. Classes postponed due to weather will be rescheduled or refunded for the amount of that class.

The lagoon feels like home. Somewhere we are loved, supported, nourished, and taught. Curiosity and exploration awaken within us as we run barefoot, play in the sunshine, jump in mud puddles and make mud pies. As we play and explore with our children, we see their inner worlds which allows us to understand them better and connect more deeply. There is nothing more magical than that.
